Mizoram, is flanked by Myanmar to the east and Tripura to the west, sharing its borders with Assam and Manipur in the north. A special place in Mizoram goes to the intricately woven traditional shawls. Other traditional crafts include utility and decorative objects made of bamboo and cane.

Vantawang, 137 Kms has the highest waterfall in Mizoram. 5 Km away in the Thezwal hill station.
Champai, 204 Kms, is a town with a cool climate and offers a view of the hills of Myanmar.

Festivals:
The Mizo boast numbers of folk and community dances that have been handed down over the generations, it is these dances the the visitor gets a glimpse of the tribal heritage of the Mizoram in all its exotic hues.
Kut the most important festival is celebrated several times a year.
Chapchar Kut (March) is the 3rd day Spring Festival marked by singing and dancing and colorfull dresses. Mim Kut (Aug/Sep) and Pawl Kut (Dec) are harvest festival and also involved singing and dancing.
